3.0CL vs. ricer x2

ok, so I was on my way home from work tonight, and it's about 12:30 am and I end up next to some cavalier with some girl in the passenger seat. I thought the driver was her bf or something, anyways, I revved my engine next to them a couple times and nothing, so I just siad forget it, put it in D4 and drove off(they were only going 40 in a 45), so I get to a stoplight and they pull up next to me and I take off just for the hell of it since it's cold as hell and I love how fast my car is in the cold.

Anyways, the cavalier just sits there and I see some car cut out from behind the cavalier. It appears to have fog lights, and kinda looks sporty, adn as it gets closer I hear it's exhaust ( an annoying high pitch rice muffler. Then I see the car go by me followed closely by the cavalier. The other car was (what looked like spray painted) black. I think it was a Ford Probe, but not 100% sure. Anyways we all end up at a light next to each other, adn I figure I would have at least SOME competition, but the light turns green, I TB a little and we're off.

I got a slight jump from the TB, and I expected then to kinda keep up, but I kept pulling and pulling and pulling, and at 60 mph I was about a block ahead of both of them and I decided to shut it down.

I think that's considered a murder not a kill. Anyways, I knew they were racing me because I oculd hear teh probes muffler screaming louder than normal. I'm pretty happy with my CL. I remember racing a Ford focus hatchback from a dig and at about 70 mph his front bumper was at my gas tank. I had gate shifted, but I was on the phone at the time also, and I think my heater was on when I reaced the focus, but maybe not. Eitehr was I was disappointed that the focus kept up that well adn thought my car sucked ass. Now I'm pretty happy with it.

yeah, I've raced a focus since then adn killed it, so I can guarantee that the focus definitely had some work done to it. Not too sure though as I was on the phone and not really paying attention to the race that much. I also gate shifted against eh focus and I think I went too high in the revs. I've noticed after about 6500 rpms it loses a SHITLOAD of hp. in drive it shifts at 6000, but those extra 500 rpms really help if you do it right.
