3.0CL (1g) Vs Me...
3.0CL (1g) Vs Me...
This race happened around barret pkwy on my way to work. Got a line up with a younger guy in a maroon cl... he had a muffler and maybe some interior gauges.. and loud music.
Anyway, I gave him all of first gear (I was about 1/2 throttle keeping even with him) When I heard the auto shift I nailed it. It wasnt even funny, maybe he put it in reverse... I used second for a couple of.. seconds... I felt like I had abused him enough already, so I let off and went to to the office.
Anyway, thought Id share with you guys who are bored at work. I guess my 'vtec' was better than his... ha!
My car is stock save for a CAI.

I am not in the habit of abusing luxury autos...
He had it coming.
I've still been looking for ya around here but haven't seen ya pass by yet. I still want to see that car and maybe see what they can do along side one another. Preferably already at speed.
I had a Chysler Concorde try something similar earlier today on Canton Hwy near Piedmont (not the best location considering what is near by). I pull off in 1st and imediately went to 2nd when I see him lurch forward. So I got on it about 70% throttle and moved ahead and let off. No sense in wasting the fuel.

I just need to get the exhaust cut out in to see what the differences are with the stock exhaust in place and without.

I assume you will be driving out to Atlanta to run with 351MachOne.
Maybe a race to Jackson, MS since it is about half way.

But I was just BSing anyway...my car isn't together at the moment.

I never have to stay up till 3AM wrenching on my car, but then again, the car *would* be fixed.
