we raced again today, and he told me again that off a stop there not all to fast. But then we raced from a roll after 30 or 40 and he would beat me by like 1 car then once he hit like 80 pffff.. i think 3 1/2 or 4. not sure.

Yeah, the torque from your bigger motor is definitely getting him off the line. I thought these cars do 0-60 in 5.9?? I'm sure maybe his launch has something to do with it, but nice win anyways.

P.S. - I hear CAI, that yours?

how much did u pay him to lose? just playing

seriously i would called but wtf are your mods?

btw, imma throw two things out...

1) the driver might be of sub-par performance quality (noob on the stick)

2) its a roadster, around a track it would spank ur FWD silly

he drives pretty gud b/c ive been in his car. but he told me that he would slam it and it would pick up slow but on the second round he told me that he would press the throttle 3/4 of the way and he would be beat by not much, my headlights were right behind his door.

I still don't believe it, come on 1gen CL are 16 sec cars, and 0-60 -like 7.8. Either something wrong with the s2k,(technically), or you asked him to lose.

I dont think its right to call bs on him... He is just sharing his experience, he even posted a vid to back it up. It might have been the driver on the S2K that wasnt that great, or many other factors...

my 3.0 cl can hang with my friends 2001 s2000 0-40 mph every time off the line unless he drops the clucth around 5000rpms and spins off the line. After 40-45 mph he pulls beating me by about 5 car lengths.

wow. according tho this thread, we have some pretty crappy drivers in S2000s. so that means i have no chance whatsoever against these 3.0 CLs.
