2700 miles and 4 rock chips

after washing my car i have found 4 damn rock chips ...........2 on the hood and 1 on each door........does our paint really suck that bad.............whats it gonna look like with 27000 miles ......................damn rocks

seriously acura needs to do something about this

i just washed my moms 94 lexus LS400 the other day and she has ZERO CHIPS. the car has 98,000 miles on it.

paintscratch.com allows you to just plug in your year/make/model and it lists the std. colors. The paint is a spot-on match, plus, you can buy clearcoat and high-grit autobody sandpaper. You can print out full instructions from the site on how to fix your chips the RIGHT way. Check it out!! If you want to type in the code, it's inside your driver door jamb, but you don't need it, just choose the color of your car from the list of colors, they're perfect.

No, I would say it's about the same, the nice thing is that you can buy the clearcoat, the sandpaper, rubbing compound, etc and do the whole process with explicit directions from the site.

The doors definitley aren't very resistent to dents, because I have a few on each side. Now I try and park away from everyone.

i know its not from car doors............look like little rock chips.............i guess ill just try touch-up and see what happens
