220HP Focus in Europe

It will be called the Focus RS and Europeans will be able to buy it starting this October.

0-62.5mph= 5.7 seconds!
2 liter turbo engine
AWD

Goes against the Civic Type R, Leon Cupra R and the WRX in Europe.

Recaro seats, Brembo brakes, 18 inch OZ wheels, carbon fiber in the interior and the starter uses a button a-la S2000.

Limited edition. Half of them have been sold before the price was announced (price is still not announced).

Stats look good on paper and the pics look nice (except for the amber turning signals in the rear). Not bad...

And that's 0-62.5 mph. Which means 0-60 is at least 5.5 seconds.

I agree with you.

Do you mean the R32 Golf? 3.2 liters V6 making 240HP now and 250HP later.

It really pisses me off that Ford is an American car company & yet they make the fastest version of the Focus for the European market. WTF!!!!! :thumbsdn:

The Focus is one of the best selling cars in Europe, and it seems that Europe always seems to get the faster cars... We seem to get more overly bloated SUV's here

Ford of Europe has been making great hot rods for years. The Sierra Cosworth was available in 1985 with a 2.0 turbo making over 220 h.p. we got the Merkur XR4Ti with 175 h.p. This Focus is hot, and it's their rally car.
