2006/7 CLs or RLs
My service adviser attended a new product meeting/training where they blurped out something about upcoming products and testing. From what he shared with me...
NSX is sporting a new v8 with hp in the range of 315-350, tbd. What was something 'new' is that to compete with the likes of g35c Acura is DEFINITELY thinking of releaseing a coupe.... but the 'new element' is to not only beat it... but make it even more luxurious... meaning a possible RLs version with at least 300hp.
If someone saw some sketches of new RL - he mentioned that traces of the new RL will be visible in RLs or whatever moniker they choose, but it will be a stand alone rocket leaving g35c in the dust. My only concern is the pricing... which might be north of 40g... which would suck.
On a/rwd.... deafening silence - meaning fwd for now, although they do have at least a year time to rethink/borrow a/rwd... but hopefully not from Isuzu

My service advisor attended a similar meeting in which he stated that the new RL will be 300 + hp... August might be the launch... just inputing wht he said when i went in for service...

A sales guy that was using an NSX-T as a table for his paper said they are redesigning the NSX in 05 for HP reasons.
He didn't give much information about the CL or future plans for bringing it back, or something similar. He did say a woman blew up her 6speed tranny after 1300 miles.

There will be no V8 in the nsx, thats pritty much confirmed...the RL will be shown in concept form at teh NY auto show in 2 weeks, and it also wont have a V8...the new RL will go on sale this fall. There has been nothing confirmed on a new CL or coupe of any sort, so any info you here on that take with a grain or salt.

coming this fall.
A concept of 2005 RL will be revealed at New York Auto Show in 2 weeks and Acura dealers will see the new RL at their annual dealer meeting Aug. 26 in Chicago
