Anyone have any idea what the 2006/2007 Tl-Type-S's are gonna be like... I think that's about the time I'll be able to afford one, so I was just wondering what you think will come standard, and how it will perform...

It'll probably be like the 2004 TLS

Since nobody knows exactly what the 2004 will be like, we'll have to make a best guess. If Acura follows their 5 year cycle, then the 2006 would be based on the 2004, but would have a "minor" reskin (like the CLS had in 03, tails, grille, headlites).

I'm waiting to see if the CLS gets redesigned. I'm hoping to get my 03 paid off in time to get a 3rd-gen CLS.

 

So 04 is 3rd gen? Do you think they'll fix the trans problems?

 

They fixed the auto tranny problems (design flaw) sometime during the 2003 model year. That's why only some 2003 cars (early 2003 production) got the extended 100,000 mile warranty.
