2004 Prelude...?

Or maybe 2005? Anyone have any info on whether or not Honda plans to re-release the Lude? Personally I think they should do to the Prelude what they did to the Accord (in terms of styling, IE make it look more sleek and sporty).

Then they should drop in the same V6, bore it out or something to maybe push it to 250 or 255 horsies, that would do well for Prelude sells and Honda's image.

s2000+accord coupe+civic si= NO MORE PRELUDE

we may see the prelude come back when the trend turns around for sport cars. roadsters are pretty trendy and so are the luxery coupes maybe in a few more years they people will shift gears into buying 4 seat sport cars.

I don't see Prelude coming back anytime soon. But if it did...I have a feeling it won't be a V6. The Prelude had a reputation as being a fast, light I4. I could see it being similar to the S2000 in that respect...maximum horsepower from a 4. IMHO

Although I know the Prelude is gone, I am a bit saddened by this.

The first car I purchased on my own was an '88 Prelude SI 4WS. That 4WS steering system was phenomenol. In a parking lot it was incredible. But on some twisty roads it was amazing. Being light, at the time, and with good tires it could run in the turns with my father-in-laws C4 Vette.
