hmm, yea looks a little too ES.
if they keep the interior relatively the same... it will still be a hot car.
the GS has one of the hottest interiors on the market and youll know when you sit in it.
awesome driving position... awesome gauges and controls. butter soft leather.

damn that GS does look so aerodynamically smooth... seems like its got some really fine shoulder lines too
But what up with the gx470... like they attached the A-B pillar and front face of the m-class with the rest of motero sport... like totally dude!

Sorry to burst your bubble guys...but that isn't the redesigned GS. That fake has been floating around clublexus.com for a while now. Toyota is keeping the '04 model very hush hush....no real pics have been released as of yet. The current GS is an amazing machine, but seeing the butcher job they did on the new ES, I'm kinda afraid of what Lexus is going to roll out in '04, but guess we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed.
And yeah Soopa, the interior is very pimp!

Don't like the looks of the new truck. I personally like the look of the current GS so hopefully they don't stray to far off.
When me and 3 friends sat in a GS430 at the NY Car Show, we didn't get out for like 15min.

Then what car can that be? Its looks like a REAL car and its certainly a japanese style. Plus besides its headlights resembling the current GS, i can only think of lexus who would design such a car.

That's a nice over priced toyota avalon
Dudes,
That is a photochop that has been at ClubLexus for some time (and noobs find it and post it there everyday ). The next GS will be a 2005 model debuting fall 2004 IF the new 5 comes out next year.
Lexus is extremely pleased with the aging of the bodystyle and are very afraid to touch it (like the 92-00 SC 300/400). The headlights will be BIGGER not smaller as in that pic. The sideview mirrors are way to large and look non ajustable (in Japan, the GS aka Toyota Aristro has smaller sideview mirrors than US cars and have a built in blinker option ala Benz).
GS has Euro Proportions (short overhangs) that has ES all over it (large overhangs). Look how bulbous the front end looks.
Nothing has been said on increased engine power on the new model, though I am SURE they will have to make a SPLASH as the GS started the Lexus can be sporty stuff.

Funny but at my Labor Day bar-b-que, my CL bud (another GS 400) brought a guy with a 2 month old CL-S 6-speed, silver and tint (the new wheels are not that bad IMO). He let me drive the snot outta it and it is FAST, what a surge after 5000rpm to the redline! Chirped 2nd gear! I just can't feel FWD anymore
Funny but the guy comes from well to do people, and he could have gotten almost anything he wanted. He chose the CL-S cause he went to college in Denver and the FWD is has it's advantages there.
He moved back here and he can't get another new car. Not like it's a bad thing.
