I just got a chance to call the dealership. They made a mistake. They only quoted me on 1 lens. Sorry to get everyone all fired up(including myself.) So I'm going to order it thru autoparts like someone recommended here. I did a lot of research into buying it lately and this seems to be only web site that carries it. It's 379 for the lenses, sockets, bulbs. The guy at autoparts was very helpful. He kind of gave me instructions on how to do it.

Again sorry for the mistake. I'm bummed out too.

I was looking for those pix to post but couldnt find them.

BTW, have you found any aftermarket bulbs that would replace the stock vanity mirrors & glove box?
glove box is another 5watt bulb

vanity bulbs r totally different and can't b swapped...at least for now

No problem homey

Ya da tails are pretty expensive. Lou gave me a pretty good price so I juz couldn't turn him down.

But it was well worth it IMO. Changes the whole look of the rear of the car.

Think the dealer would notice if I picked up another set of 01 tails and swapped'em with an 03 loaner?

I was talking to my neighbor's cousin yesterday. He had his 2001 tailights swapped and he told me that he paid 250. I'll see if he can get the name of the place in Florida for me and I'll pass it along. I already ordered mine so there's not much I can do.

He mentioned that when he did his, he screwed up the polarization and he had to go to Acura to get the signal system reprogrammed. I've not heard of this until last night. He didn't have time to elaborate but told me to be careful. Anyone else heard of this ?

I finally got the tailights last week and installed them. Took me around an hour for both. It was easy and I'm not a dextrous guy. It changed the entire look of the rear. It's much more interesting to look at now. Very happy.
