2003 painted grill question

Does the body-colored grill on the 2003 remain chrome on Silver cars?

I was watching that commercial with the guy rowing thru the gears on a winding mountain road on his way to check out a new house. The grill was definitely chrome on his silver CL.

Is that the way they come?

This is a picture from the Press CD I have.
Kind of hard to tell if it is painted or Chrome.

Its painted.. look how the "A" reflects.. and the grill doesnt

Saw a silver 2003 CLS in the dealer yesterday and it is definitely painted. I really like the silver interior trim. It definitely looks like brushed aluminum.
