2003 cls seats vs. 2003 standard cl seats

anyone know if there is any difference between the CL-S sport bucket, and the reg CL, besides perforated leather? is the seat design the same? like huggy wrap? thanks, kman

i'll check tomorrow at work.. alot of acura parts are the same but issued different part numbers..depends on cost of car..for example an rl may use the same rear barke pad as a tl but since a rl cost 10k more they charge more for the pad..they assume you can afford it!!!!!are you looking for a certain part of the seat?

well the CLS has alot more side bolster to it, and the bottom tends to hug your but more. also, I think that the padding is firmer in the cls, versus the clp. The seat design is actually quite different between the two.

i'm doing a front seat conversion to my 99 TL , and the cl looks the same except for the cl-s perf leather. got to have the sport bucket though or no conversion!

I have the standard seats in my 6 speed. The dealer changed them for me. I did not want perf leather. They are a bit softer but the bolstering is great. Very comfortable. I'm glad I did it.

All I know is that the 2003 CLS (and in my case, 6 speeder) has the most comfortable seat in a car I have ever been in. Not enough to put you to sleep though. The one BMW I was in felt like I was sitting ona 8x10. Firm. VERY FIRM.

I think that the seats that are plush and not sport are way better cause they dont hurt your ass and back as much but then your car look kinda grandpaish with the plush so its a choice you gotta make
