2003 CL/S Bose audio problem
IMO, Bose on my CL/S sucks. No Bass, no midrange. But when I tried to change by rear 6x9", I foung out that Bose has installed a different system than regular stereo. The resistance for normal system is 4~8 ohms. But Bose uses 2 ohms !
Anybody has experience to change the speakers (not the head unit), or any other solutions for more bass??
Thank you!

if you just want some more base, just put a couple of 12 inch subs in the trunk. pump in a 750 watt or 1000 watt amp, and you will be getting all the bass you need.

GO to your local audio shop and tell them you just want to add a small amp and 10 inch sub. I just did it in my 03 and it sounds great. No need to change the stock system. My total install was 400$ with amp, 10 inch JL and labor. Sound great and you get all the sound quality you need. If you have a Tweeter store around you, they do the best work.

Jl audio make a wedge box for a single 10inch. It is what I got and it takes up no space at all, fits nicely against the back seat.
Sounds much better in the car with the back seat pass through open.
Retail price is 199$
