2003 Acura CL Type-S AT - ECU question

My brother's car was stolen and thankfully recovered, but the bastard thieves took the ECU (among other things). Considering these cars have an immobilizer, how they started the car is beyond me. Anyway, a couple of questions:

Anyone know what the specific ECU is for this car? Did a quick search and found this part number: 37820-PJE-L65 *California emissions

Is there a difference between the non-Type-S and Type-S ECUs?

Appreciate any info. SF Bay Area 2nd Gen Acura owners be careful y'all

Yes. Type-S ECU is different than non Type-S. Manual trans is different from the other two as well.

Oh ok thanks for that info.

Another question:
Is there a difference between the 01-02 Type-S and the 03 Type-S ECUs?

Doesn't seem to be. Scroll down to vehicle fitment in the link below.
