the car seems to have more of an overall pull. I added the tb spacer and plenums. after my intake and pulley and i could notice a lil.

For the money it's a damn $ mod. I only did it cause a member sold them to me for 400CAD and I love the way they look and I love p2r, so it was only natural.

Probably do the new TL manifold mod, it's even better. Just more crap you need to move around and what not.

I liked the face p2r's is a simple bolt on, so it's very clean and easy to do. Last thing I want is to make a problem for myself.

i believe it allows a larger charge of air to be held in the intake manifold and then into the engine.

correct more air = more gas = more power.... you gain like 8-10hp and 12 tq

Has anyone ever dyno'ed that much of a gain with the plenums? I thought they were a dissapointment, and only gained like 4 hp.

Don't know where ou got thoes numbers but thier wrong. This was from Power Rev themselves.

""""""""Clean CL
These are being tested on my stock 2003 CL-S 6 speed. Not on my V6 turbo civic. And my Cl is my everyday driver, so its not being tested on a crazy setup . I want to make sure gains can be made on a stock engine.
And Yes TB size would need to be increased to make more HP. As of right now, by bolting up these plenums we have seen 5.7 HP & 1.2 Ft lb gain; however, this is just by bolting them up. Gains will be bigger if TB was bored.

Gains will even be better if the car even had a Header or Exhaust , but dont be fooled, the gains of 5.7 hp is huge, as it actually creates power throughout the complete power ban. The air/fuel ratio on the car currently with the plenums on are around 12:1. Which is very rich. I am going to Install a VAFC 2 tommrrow, and lean it up some closer to 13:1 and I am sure we can see another 6 hp or so out of the plenums.

If you guys can tell from the picture, I am also running one of my Thermal intake gaskets. These help huge on these engines, as it keeps the intake manifold alot cooler. I installed the thermal gasket will still retaining stock plenums, to make sure that plenum HP was Plenum Hp and not helped along with the gasket.

Also if you guys notice, we also have a TB spacer installed. This mod was actually good for 4 HP throughout the rpm band, but TQ stayed the same. When I go to the shop, I will upload some of the dyno graphs.''''''''''''''''''''''''''

See the original post here.

See post 19.

I think you got 12 Ft lbs mixed up with 1.2. Big diff.
They claimed they might see an additional 6 hp on top of the 4-5 for a totalo of about 11 hp. But we never saw any proof. Fuzzy dynoed and did not see anything. Could be alot of variables though.
$600.00 + for 4 hp? What ever! But they are pretty.

I have been away from this site for a while...I have an 01 type S with headers, intake, pulleys and thermoblock spacers. What is a "vtec control" and will boring out the throttle body do anything hp wise??
My 5sp auto will do a 14.1 on a very good day weatherwise. My last kill a month ago was a Honda S2000 that was a little long in the tooth. Easy kill suprisingly...
