yes, i've seen many World Rally races on Speedvision where u got the Focus, Lancer, and some other older cars that have those funky shifters. i think in the Focus they have to physically turn the shiftknob counterclockwise a quarter rotation to d-shift and clockwise to u-shift instead of pushing/pulling the knob. very weird.

I think it looks pretty hot. I'd buy that car just to mess around with and throw mods, engine swap, and what not into it. Looks like a GTI.

shifter placement looks similar to my old FIat Spider 2000. The way the console was, the shifter was quite comfortable. In this case, it looks wierd though.
