Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't FORD buy a controlling stake in Aston Martin?? Have u seen Volvo's crash ratings since FORD acquired it? I love it how Pierce Brosnan always says James Bond's car is an Aston Martin when they ask him about the new Bimmers in the movie, right before he tells them BMW gave him a few..... Somewhere I read that Aston Martin has a V12 that's really Dual V-6's.... anyone remember this? It's actualyl then engine deign from the FORD F-90 race car.

That is my ultimate dream car... and has been since I originally saw the concept 2 yrs ago.

As for the comment about James Bond...

Now that Aston Martin has money (thanks to ford) they have managed to outbid BMW for the next Bond film (yes Aston lost their place as a Bond car because BMW PAID for their spot... not because they have cool cars) so yes.... the new Vanquish will be the NEXT Bond car. Thank you very much

The Vanquish was at the NY Auto Show this year.....holy shit, that car was absolutely insane- there was plexiglass walls blocking it, was on a moving display- $228k.

If there ever was a dream car, this is it.

Although, one of the girls at Bentley/Rolls liked one of my friends- so she invited us around the ropes to sit in the cars....I checked out a $300k Bentley Arnage Red Label Lemans Edition (Black, 18' chrome wheels, red calipers, wire mesh inserts in the bumper and grill, 4 quad exhaust pipes out the rear, white gauges, gold Bentley wings inset in each of the interior wood inlays)....this car was bling bling to the extreme.
