hey guys... i went out to DPA tonight with a couple of buddies. one of the has a G35, the other has a new STi. we went out there to see some of the modded rides, but it was a slow night (probably because of the rain). my friend ed has a 2002 A4, with aftermarket chip, intake, headers and exhaust. He has a manual 5 speed, and he dynos at about 200.

Well, his car is 200 lbs lighter than mine and since im stock i didn't think i would be able to hold up to him, especially from a race starting from the line at 0 (his quattro would give him an advantage). on the way back home from DPA, he came to a stop on the service road next to 495 and said he wanted to race... i had to represent a-cl so i put my shiftknob into first gear to gateshift and i said "lets go". he counts down from 3-2-1 and we both floor it. from 1st to 2nd gear he was pulling ahead because of his AWD (and i had shitty tires...) from 2nd to 3rd gear i was about even with him but mid third gear the VTEC kicked in and i started pulling forward. by 4th gear i was a car length ahead of him we came to a stop and he said... "damn... those acura engines really got some nice higher end power" and i replied "its called VTEC buddy"

haha.. im on such a high right now... he used to always talk shit bout how quick his ride was.

Even though you said he has a chip is his ride a 1.8 or 3.0 model?

Yeah the 1.8ts with chip and exhaust are still slower than the CLS. They are quick though. He will need to upgrade his turbo to beat a modded TLS/CLS but it depends on a few other factors as well (program he uses, other mods, fuel, etc).
