Gotta see in person to actually know the quality. Maybe a back picture would help too. Don't look like its worth it. Painting required, modifications may be required..

So, modifications may be required, so it may fit, it may not fit. Sold as is and ships from Hong Kong China. How many CLs are there in China to test fit and fabricate something like this? I'll pass.

doesn't look like it'll make it past the Hood support beam, the one that runs behind the grille. Guess we will never know until someone gets it.

And that's just too much for a grill IMO...I'd rather pick up an OEM one and mess around with it before dropping that kind of money.

Hong Kong? Good luck with that. Don't see how it would fit since the CL was only a US product. What did they base the mold off of?
Looks like it's a replacement grill piece not just the mesh.

I second that. I went with the DIY on the 2nd gen discussion thread. 5 bucks for the gutter guard and 20 minutes of my time= damn good deal.

Pretty sure you can't link to ebay for purposes of selling, but it's ok for information/topics of discussion. This is informational as a new product available for the CL, and is a topic of discussion over the perceived quality of the item.

It looks pretty sweet IMO, def. kind of expensive though but I might buy it if it was known to fit. Where's our registered Guinea Pig?

Meh, for the price and look and no guaranteed quality and hassle, I'll pass. I like my DIY grill better anyways. Besides, the mesh part looks to go behind the A and the -o- part. I think mine looks cleaner and more "OEM" (if you could call it that) between the A and -o-...

Nothing can beat the stock look. Period.
I did a DUI on my grille and liked it for a while. When I changed it back to stock, it looked 100 x cleaner and realized how cheap the costom grilles on our cars look.

Ebay links are allowed as long as you don't link to your own auctions (or someone you know, etc).

Ebay links are fine as long as they are for informational purposes. We don't allow ebay links for stuff members are selling themselves, but it's ok to link ebay stuff that we find.

Here's the rule that Ron A added awhile ago (per my request since there was, and I guess still is some confusion about ebay links):

https://acurazine.com/forums/announc...ouncementid=10

c. Ebay links may be posted in other forums, as long as they are not the poster's own sale, if they illustrate or clarify postings in the thread, or if they provide useful information on sale prices or availability of items.
So if you find rims, or HID bulbs, or other stuff for the CL for cheap on ebay, it's ok to post the link here so that other members can get good deals on stuff.

I'm not trying to sell the grill or anything. I personally love my modified stock OEM grill and would never pay that much for any aftermarket grill, especially one coming from overseas Hong Kong without seeing the grill in person myself. I just posted it for information purposes only because I have never seen that particular grill before besides the RJ grill.

A good way to check is to look at the seller's feedback and other listings on eBay. This overseas seller seems to sell many parts for other USDM Acura models as well, and there are no major complaints or whatever. Would be nice to see pics from someone have it installed on the car.

so far i looked through the history of the seller and he sold at least 2 and both left comments that they fit (one said they helped him fit it through phone/e-mail). a 2g TL bought the tl one and he said it fit perfectly.... even went into the oem clips or what not, but i know that they have tl's overseas.

but for whoever that wants to try it, it looks promising... and it should clear the support beam

I think the open grille with black mesh would look awesome on many of the CL's, but that's just me.

And that TL above does look

looks like someone took a mold of the titand19 grill. imo - he made the best grill ever. i love the deep pocket look and was going to do it but i just dont have the time to cut and fiberglass the oem grill. for the price, i'll bite. i just bought it and will report back fitment when i get it. as far as i was aware, you need to cut the hood support in order to get that deep grill look. whatever, they dropped the price to 109+s/h so i bought it.

look where the mesh touches the grill, compare it to the 2nd/3rd gen tl, tsx tell me what you see...

ours is rounder, shorter, smaller... but it goes with the original car's design i guess... everything about the cl is round, the rear, the body, etc etc

i contacted the seller a week ago and he said you just need to drill the hole or something like that. there have been at least 2 other people who bought it from him that installed it so yup =D
