2001/2002 Tranny

is the Tranny in the 2001-2002 CL-S trannies the same? I have a 2001 and am keeping a very close eye on mine...1300 miles no prblems....Also my cupholders seem fine and they also seem exactly the same as a 2002 I saw in the Acura showroom today.
Not sure why everyone rags on these cupholders...they work great for me.

They're the same transmission. You have the upgraded cupholder. The early adopters got the old shitty cupholder. Sometime during summer 2000, they changed cupholder designs but left the part number the same. I got mine in March 2000 and got the useless one.

I have the old cupholders and i think i'm going to start a class action law suit against Acura. These cupholders are dangerous, you could spill hot coffee in your lap and crash and kill yourself and your 2 children in the backseat.
