2001 or 2002?

i was quoted a price of $26,800 for a 2001 CL-S (non navi). now i really want the 6speed 2002 when it comes out, but i know the dealer isnt going to go down very much when it first comes out and i dont wanna wait a year just so the price goes down. what would you guys do? is the 6speed, plus any other 2002 changes, worth the extra money, probably around $3000?

I will wait for the 6speed one. It's a 2002 car plus it's little bit faster, much more fun to drive

If you want an auto, the arrival of the 02's will make for some good deals on leftover 01's. If you want a manual, then of course wait for the 02's. I don't think you'll have any problem making a deal on an 02 manual. Remember manuals don't sell well. Wait for the launch buzz (if any) to wear off, then go in for the kill on some salesman desperate to move a stick.

He's got a point... I wouldn't be suprised if the 2002 model is only model year the CL gets a manual. Manuals do not sell well at all, especially on cars like this. Now, there are some enthusiasts out there, and most of them are on here.... but the overall picture doesn't look good for sticks, so if you really want it, wait until early 2002 and scoop one up....
