stopped at the light with a stealth ES.. (i think those are the ones with a 222 hps engine... no turbo??) ... i did my regular 1/2 way down the gas pedal thing when the light turned green... as soon as he heard my tire chirp... he floored it...(we were pretty much head to head when I heard he floored his car).... so I downshift to D3 and floored my car all the way... man... i just start pulling and I was more than 1 car lenght ahead of him when I go up to 80... =P

my friend got a 1.8T GTI recently and few days ago we finally had a chance to see who's car is faster.. =P so we both stopped at the light... he had a not so great launch ... so i was in D3 @ 3200 RPM and was about 1/4 car length ahead... however... as soon as my vtec kicked in.. i just started pulling ... at 6000 rpm i was 3/4 car lenght ahead of him... kee kee... i thought the new GTIs with 180 horses are faster than that... kee kee..

You drive up too 80MPH on a local street!!!! ...

Oh for sure I'm suffering from mod withdrawl so much so that i'm sitting there looking at the s4. I probably won't but ugh. I haven't washed or waxed my baby in a while and haven't done any mods so i'm at my wits end you know hehe I'm saving all i can so in the spring i can plunk down $ for suspension, rims, headers, tires and of course RES Hopefully after doing all that to the car i will be happy.....i doubt it

 

acutally, we have stoplights on 60+mph roads. they even have those "hurry up and speed otherwise you won't make it" lights for the semi's ...
