Angry Water drop and vapour inside the light house on the driver side

Hey guys.

I just took my car to thouse high pressure touchless car wash today and this is the first time I have seen a couple water drops and vapour inside the lighthouse on the driver side. I spoke to 3 different dealerships today and they are told me all diff stories.. One said it is not normal to see water/vapour inside and the other one tell me it is normal in a high pressure wash... I was like.. what da hell!!!!

HAve u guys got the same problem? Mine is a 05 TSX.

Thx all!

So you have condensation in your headlights? If so, they will have to replace it for FREE under warranty. Don't tell them anything about pressure washing and stuff. The seal on the headlights suck, i had mine replace 2 times!

I took it to the dealership and they now took a several pics on it and they said they would send it to Honda Canada to see whether it shall be under warranty. The advisor is quite fair and he states it shall be covered... I really hope this is the case.... geee

What a pain in the ass!

I have heard RSX owners complain about gear box prob while getting into 2nd and 3rd gears.... for tsx... I have heard prob on tranny... even mine has prob on it but it is just something they are not willing to fix... sooooo piss off!

now, I found dealership in Canada is unwilling to let owners to claim anything in warranty.... unless if something that is really obvious....

Sucks that most people are getting poor service nowadays. Hopefully my dealer lives up to their reputation of having one of the best customer service departments in my area. If they don't no way I'm buying another Acura. The STi is the next buy for me.

So much for Honda's fabled reputation - beginning to wonder if I should've bought a Lexus IS 200 instead.

LOTS of people have had condensation (me too). Do a search and you'll find many cases.

well, if they're selling way more TSX's, there are bound to be more problems in sheer number (we hope not in ratio, though). also, the internet makes it really, really easy to gripe about little problems that most people would ordinarily just live with in their 1994 accords. those 1994 accords would still run for 250,000 miles, albeit a small percentage of them with some minor problems.

Well, I certainly didn't pay for an Accord.

Actually, i have seen couple other car makers has the same condensation problem. It is just that the TSX/Accord is more apparent probably due the design of the clear headlight cover. Many other cars doesnt have that clear looking cover like the TSX, so it doesnt look as obvious IMO. A few other that i saw include Porche Canyenne, 350Z, Suzuki Swift Sport.
