actually i didnt know that. do you think that the aem filter is as good or better than a k&n?

IMHO, I think the AEM would be better because it's designed to work with that particular CAI system. I would stick with it. All you need to do is go to your local parts store and buy a K&N filter cleaning kit. You can use that on your AEM filter to clean it. Remember... flush the dirt from the inside out, not the other way around.

As far as my knowledge, you don't need to oil the new AEM filters...
