1st oil change, what kind of oil?
Ok, I know this is probably old mess for most of you guys, but I just bought my 2001 CL and now it's time for an oil change.
How much is an oil change at Acura?
I'd just assume to go to Jiffy lube or something, but will they put the right kind of oil in? Anyways, what brand/viscosity should be put in it? (normal driving, except at stoplights :-), no severe weather).

well I've ran a lot of different oils(Catrol GTX,Valoline,Havoline)(about you name it i've ran it) they're all pretty similar but I like Mobil 1.
You can't go wrong with Mobil 1 synthtic.

100 canada bucks YOUR GETTING SCREWED!!
isn't that like 50 or 60 American bucks. you can take it to a Jiffy Lube for 25 bucks with tax.(american) the local jiffy lubes as long as you bring in the oil you want they'll put anything you want in it . not to be mean Wild but I think they're HOSEING YA.:P

Oil change
After engine break in at 5000 miles on original oil and another fill with regular oil for 3000 miles, I will use Mobil 1 with Purolator PureOne oil filter number PL14459 . I change my own oil as it is very easy on the Acura CL/TL.
