1sickwreck

http://www.clublexus.com/forums/show...hreadid=100587

Happened Thursday night, I am still a lil outta it and I can't seem to stare at a monitor for too long. Outside of Lexus, this is my fav auto site with Supraforums so I thought I'd post here.

Fock.

Basically it seems I blanked out and crashed right into the Georgia State dorms. Ouch. Pics are coming on Clublexus soon.

Damn Lex, sorry to hear about the accident, glad your ok. I read the posts on CL, great to have caring members, like here at ACL. That's bullshit about the cops and saying that you refused to take their tests. Hope all comes out well

So sorry to hear that. I read through the thread on CL and what the cops did to you totally sucks. I'm sure if you get a good lawyer, all will be well.

Hope you feel better!

damn it 1sicklex, you were one of the last cool gs owners (like myself) who appreciates other cars as well. now your gs has been hurt. i see your taking it well. but i see you still have another lex in the family so you havent left the family yet
and i thought i had it bad with a speeding ticket the night before.
gl to you for the future. i dont know what else to say, i would go nuts if my gs or tl was hurt. i think i would be more pissed for the gs actually, its just something about that car.
well, i dont want to go on about that when you have a loss.
now, face what happened, drive a beater for a year, and if the new GS rocks youre all set!
hopefully your insurance will not hassle you. once again best wishes and good luck.

Thanks ya'll. Yeah, pics should be up at the site soon so everyone can see for themselves. The car held up incredibly well. No cracked glass, sunroof closes no problem, doors are fine, interior is fine, headlights fine, hood fine. BUt under the car (I hit the curb and went up at an angle) seems pretty bad. I see my sway bar moved back. My wheels are focked up, one looks like the Infintiti symbol. Everyone in the car was fine though.

2003 seems to be a HELLIFIED year for many people......

word and word. I know of at least 7 people who crashed their rides this year.

See if the floor buckled from the curb. If so then it might be a total lost like mine was.

Glad the car held up though, could have been worse.

He blacked out. HE also took the tests that the cops gave him which he passed.

no one said he was drunk or had proof. Or did i miss that part?

I'm not exactly sure what is going on... He said he had a couple drinks... But in the Lexus forum thread, there's something about lawyers n' stuff... Didn't read it in great detail.

I'm just happy no one was hurt...

I read the whole thing... he said that they charged him with DUI, however, when they tested him, the tests did not register any alchohol, so he was NOT drunk. Bottom line is it looks like he's getting fucked by the cops... and now he needs a lawyer so he doesn't lose his license.

1sick... I'm glad you and you're friends are OK. A car is replacable, but people are not.

Sorry to hear about that 1sick! Good Luck with everything and glad to hear that no one was seriously injured.

Yeah, it hasn't been a good year for peeps. A friend of mine just had her 337 gti totalled as she was rammed from behind by a van and pushed forward into a truck! I also fucked up my TLS earlier this year but not too bad.

Thanks for the support everyone. Man, I am waiting for the pics too. I took em with a friends camera.

Astroboy (and I mean boy) people like you keep me going and very motivated. Thanks.

Yeah, I was not racing, nor was I drunk, just had a long month and very long week (like it seems many people around) and simply blacked the fock out. My very first wreck. I've never had anything close to this before.

Basically the cops are trying to turn hero on my arse trying to get a medal of honor or something. I don't think so.

1sicklex, i am trying to figure out still what happened. my friend has had an accident just like yours but even worse. i say worse because he destroyed several feet of oxygen producing trees. when i asked him what happened, he told me where it happened and the situation. knowing the conditions he faced, i was 100% sure that even g-d would have trouble helping him out on that one!
now, i know the gs really well and unless conditions are very bad, vsc could save your ass every time. out of 100 times ive screwed up, it only gave out on me once. i know you have some mods too so that should of helped. my point here is to figure what happened, and what were the conditions.
i know you are under alot of stress, and honestly you seem to be doing much better than i would in your situation. if you can answer some of my questions though, i would really appreciate it.
Did vsc even kick in on you? Or did it try but you hit something before it could recover the car.

WTF are you talking about... the guy said he blacked out... now you're making him out to be a bad driver b/c his VSC should have prevented the wreck? I don't get it...
