19's and 1/4 times...

I am getting ready to head out to the track for the first time.
My 19's with tires weight about 55lbs. I know if I had stock wheels with some sticky tires, and a good launch I could break into mid 14's...
So, I am wondering what times to expect in the 1/4 mile, so i dont leave the track dissappointed...

Ohh crap, next Friday? My sister gets married next Sat, but I should be able to make it.

Umm, I just looked at the Texasmotorplex.com website, and they don't show anything for next Friday. Are you going to Ennis or somewhere else?

Yeah, Enis was where I planned on going, I thought they had an event every weekend, but I guess b/c the season is over, they
are cutting down on the event days. I see the next one is two weeks from now, I'll try to make it to that one....
So, if you want to go we can arrange the meet...

Just so ya know, this isn't the ultimate street night which goes from 9:00-2:00am. And this one is a bit more expensive, but they do have the boards on, which is a good thing (I guess).

Nicky, P7000's arent as sticky as Nitto's...

Nitto's will not let go of the road.

But their not as good in rain/snow as P7000's are.

BUT OH MY GOD DO THEY GRIP ASPHALT!!!

P7000's have a very soft compound and wear out pretty quickly,
but they pretty sticky 2... My friend has them on his Maxima, I drove his car a few times and I think they grip pretty good...

Mantis, it's on then...

Sounds good Mantis, I've been wanting to go to one of those highschool nights cause they show times. And the prices are cheaper for me cause I got my school ID.

no they don't...I got like 40,000 Miles outta mine...what are you talking about?

and trust, my car spins it's tires a lot easier than soopa's car and it's 70 pound wheels! Christ kid, no wonder you can't spin your tires!
