Gotta be an SC400. SC430s just came out about a year 1/2 ago. Are you sure it wasn't a sc300? CLP vs. SC300 seems about right. SC400 vs CLS i would give it to the cls BUT, not a CLP.

Look at facts.... cls 0-60 6.5 (acura claims) and clp at 7.0-7.5 (never saw stats on the clp).
Now lexus sc300 0-60 with 5spd is 7.4, auto about 7.9 - 8.2.
SC400 (auto only)0- 60 in .... 6.7 - 7.0.
Now looking at the stats....which car should race who and who should win what? CLP is a nice car! Wait, its the same car as i drive but less horse power
Furthermore my moms has a 97 sc400 and we are about even on the highway until i got mods. 97 years and up have more horsepower and the 0-60 times are shaved off a little too.
