18's VS. 19's Is tha ???

I've had my sheeit for a whole 19 days now and i'm already itchin for rims. Coincidentally i really wan't 19" rims. But alas this is no small decision. Here's the debate.
B4 i got my CL-S it had 18" racing hart C5 3pc. on it. Looked real good exept not quite low enough. Also, the 3pc. made the rims look smaller. So if i went w/ 18" they'd have to be a design that appears larger. u fellas know what i mean right? Then to be satisfied i'd have to ditch the comptechs for a lower drop.(prolly not good to cut these or is it possible?)
I think 19's would be the shiz and i could keep my springs and be happy but i sometimes drive over road surfaces that i would be worried about on the near dubs. Don't get me wrong i'm always lookin for the smoothest path but some ish is unavoidable.

So people w/ 18's are you happy? Do you wish you had 19's?

People w/ 19's are you happy? or does the practicallity of 18's outshadow the OMG looks of 19's?

Let me know, Thanks!

i have no idea what your question is really.

just cuz you have 19s over 18s doesnt mean youll rub.

the diameter including tire should always be about the same.

what matters is width/offset.

just be a man and get 19s

Soopafly, did you even read my post brotha? I know all about how tire sizing ,aspect ratio etc. works and i said nothing about rubbing. I merely wanted input on peoples experience w/ the2 sizes. I don't want to regret my decision and hell yes i want 19's. Read it again & hit me back.

p.s. I said near dubs, as in nearly 20" rims, west coast talk.

Your ride will be better with 19"s and comptechs then with 18"s and some ghetto chopped springs

just get the f-in 19's and show all your boyz in OR. whoz da pimp nizzle. haha

I would avoid 19s if you have any sort of pothole type problem or you can risk kissing your rims goodbye.

I assume with the less rubber that the 19" ride is rougher than the 18", so that's another choice you have to make.

Look in the CL FAQ for some pictures of people's 18" rims, and 19" rims, and their combinations of rims/tires/shocks/springs,
and that'll give you an idea of what people are using.

Thanks for the input fellas. Definately 19's in my future, possibly some gunmetal colored centers w/ polished lip. Anybody know the correct width, i would guess between 7.5 & 8" w/ 215-235/35's. Prolly do it in april or may after it stops f'n raining. cai , subs etc. within a month or so. W/ res mod should be around 300 hp @ the crank i would hope,
