18" tire help

I am getting some 18"x7.5" rims and i was wondering if u guys know if Sumitomo htr+ 235/40/18 would fit in them without rubbing. The tire shop and tirerack is worried that they might rub while turning and driving. Does anyone have similar size tire on their car and getting any problems. Any feedback would be appreaciated. Thx

I have 45+ no rubbing... with Nittos... 42 make the tires gets inside more.. maybe you will rub a bit from inside..

Actually it's the opposite. The lower the offset number, the farther out the wheel sticks out from the wheel well. 235 seems a little too wide for a +42 offset. 225 is a better fit for a 7.5" rim anyway.
