15K service
Bringing my 2002 S in tomorrow for the 15k mile service. Dealer quoted me $210 over the phone. But I just got my tires rotated so about 30 bucks will come off of that. Does this sound like a fair price??
Thanks
Thanks

he is screwing you over, they dont do anything at 15K miles excet for an oil change . Take it to get its oil changed somewhere else and you will be fine. But 210 $ HA , my 30 K service only cost 290 $ so I think something is wrong buddy .

Of course you’re going to get multiple “HE’S SCREWING YOU” replies to this, but I think that is a fair price.
I think that’s about what I paid for the 15K service on my 2001.
I’m a firm believer in scheduled services at the dealership.
I think in the long run you are better off if “out of warranty” problems arrive later in the cars life.
I also think you get better treatment when it comes to trading and buying a new car from them.

It's your money, but I think you're throwing it away. My 30,000 cost $141.xx (and I thought that was high), including Tranny fluid. 85% of the things he mentioned were 'check this and that'. The thing that will make a differance on a tradein is what they think they can make off of the resale of the car (looks and mileage). YMMV

It's all crap, go ahead and spend your money for unnecessary checks.... I just ask deal to do what my manual says, no more, no less! If I would do every 7500 miles recommeded, you'll spend thousands of unneeded dolors

I agree with Shawn. I'm sure if your tranny blows, it will probably be less of a headache with records of Acura scheduled maintenance done. You may save a few hundred dollars over the course of the year by not going to the dealer, but to me, that's not worth it.
NoleCLS, which dealer do you go to? Voyles?

I actually go to Acura Carland in Duluth by Gwinnett Place Mall. So far they have been pretty helpful. I have called around to a few of the other dealers and the one in Duluth is the only one I have found that will install Comptech parts.
sdho: they also mentioned that they would change the wiper blades, I forgot to mention that one.
