150 Shot n2o, Seeking J series Gurus Advice..
I'm really curious as to whether our engines can handle a 150 shot (wet kit) with a walbro fuel pump, heat range 7 spark plugs, and 114 octane. It feels perfect with the 125 shot, and I've never had a problem with it.
I bought the jets, but will continue to do some homework before thinking of installing it. I feel a fuel pressure gauge and oil pressure gauge would be appropriate if I chose to go through with installing the jets. They come in tomorrow from Zex btw. I do not feel obligated to install them, so I wouldn't think twice to throw them away if I'm convinced it can't be done safely with the current set up I mentioned.
Anyone from the 2nd gen forum have vital info they can give me with any past experiences with a 150 shot from other members?

The most I ever ran prior to my turbo setup was a 100shot and it was only twice. No problems there. I'm guessing with the right amount of fuel it might be possible but don't know for how long or how safe it would be.

Anyone else feel I can get away with this high of a shot? Would really like more honest opinions from those that are knowledgable with these engines.

use 93-octane or above when adjusting to 12.0:1 compression. (obviously you're using 114 octane so no issue there). retard the timing -0 degrees and introduce a quick spray of 150 shot. keep IRMC connected. I don't know how everything is timed on your car right now so I can't say.
I've noticed in my searches that some boosted CLs had -0 degree retard timing with no problems but I do know that if you disconnect IRMC it will probably blow.
