105 m.p.

Hey kids,

During a 500 mile road trip on my 01' CLS, I noticed doing 105, my RPM's were below 2500. I'd say around 2300. Is this common for the VTEC's

Thanks in advance.

Wow that sounds alil' low for 105mph. I thought the engine revs @ 2500 when you're goin' like, 80?

That's about what it is for me. I'm at about 2500rpm around 100-110 mph. I'd love to see no restrictor and about 5000rpm in AT5. I wonder how fast this car can go?? Gotta love this car

I knew that, but I wonder what we could get up to if they were not limited?? I just verified it, I'm at 2100 rpm @ 80mph. Not bad

CL-P 5AT stock tire diameter 220mph @ 6000rpm
CL-S 5AT stock tire diameter 237mph @ 6500rpm

CL-S 6M stock tires 194mph @ 6500rpm

I used the original service manual to get gear ratios.
