100,000

ok guys, car has 100,000 miles on it, it needs paint work for the front bumper, hood and the trunk....nothing bad on any of the parts but lots of chips, bird shit, etc. Should I put the money into it or save the money for a new car when i want one. i really dont wanna sell the cl just yet and would like to keep it untill it starts to fall apart!!

I am closer to 96k on my 03....

If you aren't already, just keep putting the car payment (assuming it's paid off) into an account in the event you want to do the work or you get to the point of wanting a new car you have all the money for a downpayment.

other than the paint the car is 99% hardly any wrinkles in the drivers seat,no one has EVER sat in the back seats, tranny is holding up, no other problems what so ever.

Monthly improvements instead of monthly payments...

My CLS is paid off, and I need some paint work done ($700)... I haven't thought about buying something else yet, 'cause I don't want to get back into car payments.

car payments blow ass. mine is paid for as well. i have enough to make a hefty down payment on a tl now. but used prices seem to be only about 3 thousand less that brand new.
