1/4, 60ft w/Tazzo

Well i got my first runs on the Tazzo and here are the results.

Too bad the road was not leveled. it was stright, but it was not the same level though out. and I think thats why it messed up the readings a little.

1/4 60ft
14.34@100.4 2.34
14.63@98.1 2.38
14.51@99.2 2.37

1/8
9.58@76.5 2.39
9.50@78.2 2.36
9.45@79.7 2.39

I will find a better road, and will do more testing, for now I think I like the 60ft readings. I did some 0-60 and it was between 5.9-6.3. it seemed to be fair.

This device can be calibrated according to the track times. So maybe I'll do that sometimes. with a better surface I think this would be alot more accurate.

I like the consistencies.

Any thoughts ?

Times Seem a little Fast.. considering you have no real performance mods (unless they're not listed in your sig), except for the Tires.

But you're right about the consistency, that's pretty much what we're looking for,.... I would love to see you re-calibrate it at a track!!!

Anyway,, do some more testing and please let us know all the results!!!

No with the temp that cold and no humidity those times are very possible. There was a member on this board who ran 14.4 in cold weather and CAI. This guy has tires so why not?

Those numbers are bit high, I would say 14.8s @ 95 MPH is what it should be.

Tazzo claim that their unit does not need to be leveled. I would suggest take it to the 1/4 mile strip and get it calibrated.

I would say it may be a TOUCH under this... I ran 14.8's @ 94-95 on a wet track with 2.3-2.4 60 ft times (see times slips here: TIMES .... I have a CAI and Stock tires.. He could easily be 14.7's at 96... but obviously a tenth of a second is not a huge deal for an in car performance meter to be off by... consistency is what we're all looking for..

It would be good to take it to the track and calibrate it

-- Sounds MUCH better than GTECH results!! (thank god)
