06 tl "calipers"

06 tl "calipers"

For all those who have been jonesing for the 06 black tl calipers with the acura lettering let me present...


just painted them black with g2 caliper paint and got these vynl stickers from vdgraphics.com and viola! not too tacky, looks pretty good imo...

but whats the difference? i dont know too much about the new TLs

doesn't seem like there's any difference in performance. i think he just painted the stock calipers and slapped on vinyl.

they are very very worth the money. But get the ceramic pads if you do, because the brake dust on the bbk is mad

o man... this is false advertising hahaha the title should read, "Stock Calipers painted Black with Stickers... pix inside"

The real 6MT TL calipers are 4 piston Brembo units. They are no different from 04 to current though. The 5AT TL uses similar calipers to ours.

From what I've read, the good stuff can withstand temps of a few hundred degrees. I don't think the outside part of the caliper gets that hot. Very interesting look! I like it. For all the haters... would you prefer he used vinyl that read "Brembo"?? At least he isn't "ricing it up". It's black and it says "Acura". Hell, I think I might just do this myself now that I see it.
