i was driving around and i saw an 04+ TL with comptech exhausts...i was wondering if the mufflers were the same size for all vehicles that it's offered for? it seemed like the comptechs on that TL were a little bigger from what i remembered. i really liked the size of those mufflers, so if theyre different sizes would it be possible to put them on an 03 cl-s?

 

The cat-back system from Comptech will not fit the CL-S. However I'm sure the mufflers could be cut and welded on to your car. However, given the price tag of the '04 TL exhaust I'd find something else you like.

any suggestions? i don't liek greddys or magnaflows...i like how the comptechs have a thick circle when looked straight on as opposed to other aftermarket exhausts..those are way too thin. that's why i liked the stock exhaust, u can see the steel piping..does anybody understand what i'm trying to say? kinda hard to explain...does anybody know of any nice exhausts that fit this description? i liked the neuspeeds but appraently theyre out of production

 

The Comptech exhaust for the CL seems to fit that description IMO

i guess that's the term haha...yeah i like the comptech exhaust for the cl-s a lot...but only if it were a little bit bigger...bringing up one of hte earlier questions...are the muffler sizes the same for the cl-s and the 04TL comptech exhausts? does anybody know of any mufflers that look similar to them? but a little bigger?

Comptech catback for the CL has everything you need...
