those 04 maximas are quick my brother took my fathers maxima to the track the cars a 5 speed auto bone stock 60ft 2.183 330ft 6.159 1/8 9.433 1000ft 12.262 1/4 14.644 at 94.56 mph the car beat my best

 

That's pretty impressive....

On the max.org site.. not many have actually broken the high-14's in their new '04's .. even the 6-spd guys are having a hard time. I have a feeling they're no faster than the '03's .. (i'm not the only one that thinks this, obviously)

 

2.18 is a phenominal 60' on a heavy fwd like tha 04 Maxima. Most people will not pull that good of a launch. Low 2.3's to mid 2.2's are more the norm. I think the 04 are for all intensive purposes not any faster than the 02-03. They do have more hp it seems, but it is negated by the extra weight.

was that launch luck or did he have other similar launches. Also Thid max and the last one are about the same off the line and through the quarter, but my boy ran his father from a 50 mph roll and his father's new 6 speed max, slowly walked on his last gen max by like a car.

 

actualy i got the launch down pretty good, all the runs i avg 2.1 and 2.2. mainly 2.2s... but i think with alitle more practice, i can do 2.1 more consistent... and the car is actualy 200 more pnds than the 02 and 03, so i actualy do think theres alittle more power there..

Hey...that was my idea...hehehe. I got like 6-7 guys I work w/ goin...as well as vinarnold...might have 04 tl by then!!! We've been planning this for two months now...a guy I work w/ has a 93 Mustang gt w/ nothing other than a throttle body and he swears he'll be right next to me...can't fucking wait!!!
