'03s and foglights?

Is there a certain reason that the '03s don't have fog lights? Or is it Acura's way of saying "We give you a more fun car, but you can't see as well at night! So HA!" or is it something with the car itself?

Thanks.

03 fog lights

I heard from someone at the dealer that it was because the old foglights kept getting water inside

I think they dropped off the roadlamps off of the 03 because they were going for the blacked out look on the frontend. Silver Roadlamps would have conflicted with the blacked out headlights on the 03.

That's been the general concensus here. Acura was going with a more aggressive look, and thought the road lamps didn't fit.

Some members have installed roadlamps on their 03's...

go here.... http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/612003/2 .... to see that. i think they do conflict, but i also dont think it looks bad enough to change them. as far as seeing any better with them, thats a negative. when you have HIDs gimpy little foglights dont do much IMO

I agree with this. I remember reading something about how the fog lights were going to be illegal in 1 o2 states so Acura just dropped them off all Cls.

Can anyone confirm this?
