Does anyone know if a fog lamp kit for a '03 Type-S 6MT exists?
I've been looking but cant find it anywhere, and any photos of the cars, I never see fog lamps.
I'm afraid to call the dealership and ask, they would probably want $600+ for it.
If anyone knows an aftermarket or Acura kit and where to get it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, E

what exactly are you looking for? you can easily install any aftermarket fogs into the road lamp location...

or you can put in the actual road lamps from an 01/02

some have put the 01-02 roadlamps in an 03. you can put aftermarket fogs in but will require some customizing. You will have to do some splicing.

Kev,

The lamps on your ride are the style I'm looking for, they look like the dealer installed ones from the '01-'02s. Did they come with the car or you install them?

I looked out on Ebay for fog lamps for the CL and none like those in the picture above came up. I guess I can search at a junk yard if push comes to shove.

Can you turn your fog lights on and off independant of your headlights? I wouldn't like to have mine on all the time.

which picture are you talking about. my white cl at the top or kevins?

as for mine... I can turn my driving lights on and off independently. they are piaa lamps and most models are avail. on ebay.

kevin has the road lamps from an 01 or 02. they aren't usually on ebay. they are available from the dealer, but they aren't cheap. they also are not fog lamps...they don't actually project any light...they are road lamps.

Thank you. You answered my question completely. We dont get much fog here in Baltimore. If I did get them it would be for cosmetic reasons. I may try to find those driving lights in a junk yard or something.

Would those be any harder to install than the fog lights? I'd assume they'd be just as simple.

Would be the same basic wiring. The only reason aftermarket fog or driving lamps would be easier is because all the wiring and the switch would come with them ready to plug and play.
