Is it possible to fit the '03 muffler tips on the '01 mufflers? This is on the stock Type-S muffler. I like the '03 tips because they're thicker...and they look like they just slide over the tip and get welded on the backside of the tip. Does anyone know if I can just get the '03 tips from Acura and have them welded onto the tip of the '01 muffler?

No, you must get the whole muffler. It's an axle back. It is straight bolt on though. I've seen them for sale in the Black Market for like $150-$200.

 

That's probably the best thing to do. You see them from time to time.
