03 forced air intake
Has anyone with an 03 CL-S or any CL-S done a forced air intake to it? I'm not sure if you would call it a forced air or ram air intake? On the 03 CL's they don't have fog lites they have fake air dam's instead. I was wondering if anyone has custom made an intake that runs piping from the air dam's to the intake cuz it would be sucking in colder air and it would be forced air or ram air whatever you wanna call it so you would most likely be sucking in more air? More air and colder air = more horse power. So I was wondering if anyone's done this or if a company has made an intake like that for our car's and if it worked good or not? If you know anything about it I'd like to know. Thanks in advance everyone.

I took out the plastic fog light cover and cut the rear plastic out to make an opening. I then used mesh bought from mcmasters and wrapped it around the back of the opening and secured it down. I have a comptech Icebox and i extended the tubing slightly and turned it so that the tube opening is right behind the mesh venting. I have noticed I get alot more bugs especially big bugs likes bees etc stuck more on that vent opening then the one on the other side which tells me it is doing something.
Here is what mine looks like but this is passenger not driver side for the tubing and you cant see the tube in pics anyway.

that would just suck in water tho, u gotta have a way of letting that water drain out, like the oem intake system does. cool idea tho for sure.
but in canada with salt and what not, i like the fact the intake is in the side of the car safe a protected.... for the most part

I did it on mine. Im sure it helps up but remember to keep your filter clean. It gets dirty really fast.

the easiest thing to do is remove the resonator and leave the stock airbox, you will suck in cool air and not have water issues

While we are on the topic, what does everyone this is the best intake for our cars? I was looking at the Injen CAI in black mostly because its black. Will a CAI make more power than the ice box?

When did he say that? I was about to buy one awhile ago straight up but the price was ridiculous.
I prefer the IceBox over everything else. It makes the more power, is quiet, and looks stock.
