I just noticed something about my floor mats. My 03's mats have Acura CL embroidered on them, but don't the 01's and 02's have Type S embroidered instead? Was this a change for the 03's? Or did someone at my dealership pull a fast one on me?

Mine are just like yours. Perhaps it's a conspiracy? Wasn't the guy at the grassy knoll standing on a Type-S mat?

 

Noticed in your sig that you own a 99 SF SHO. I just traded my 97 SF SHO for my Silver 03 CLS. I loved the SHO, but was getting a bit concerned about the cam failure problems that have been reported. I thought I should get back to a car that had a warranty.

Were you a member of the V8 SHO club (www.V8SHO.com)?

The OEM '01-'02 mats just say Acura.

The Type S mats were aftermarket.

I think I'll get some '03 mats eventually.
