03 cls6 ecm immo chip swap ????
So after diagnosing every component on the car i'm thinking the ECM is bad. I purchased a used ECM witn identical model numbers and I thought my Ancel X7 bi-directional scanner could rewrite the vin# but it can't evidently.
My thought now is to remove the IMMO chip from the original bad ECM, and install it in the new used ECM. Or just remove the IMMO chip from the new used ECM. Will one of those methods work??
