03' CL-S vs 06' Maxima
I was chillin with my buddies down in Seaside over the weekend. I drove 2 friends in my car and my friend with the maxima drove 3 friends. We get on the parkway and i go into SS right into 2nd and we hit it. We both took of equally then i started to pull on him throughout 2nd gear then once i hit 3rd he really started creeping up on me and he got about a 3/4 of a cars length in front of me and we stoped right around 85mph and he looked over and laughed and that pissed me off 
so once we got to seaside he challenged me to a drag from a 20mph roll and there was no one in our cars. So we are both side by side and we are both in 2nd and we take off he pulls on me a little then i catch up and pull ahead of him for about a half a cars length and then once i got in 3rd he pulled on me once again i was just so upset that i couldnt beat him why is 2nd gear our only good one??? ohh well you cant win them all

Get a CAI and headers and he won't know what hit him. Suspension won't hurt either...better launches.

His was the CVT transmission and it keeps the Max right in its powerband. Those cars pull 14.5@96MPH stock!
cvt tranny didn't come out until 07 if not correct. I could be wrong though.

i'm pretty sure it was an 07' but i''m not 100% positive all i know is that it has the new spoiler that i think comes on all maximas so i'm guessing it was an 07' but wutever i am gonna order a set of xs headers when i get my next paycheck and then we'll see whos boss

The 07 model debuted the CVT in the Maxima with the 07 Maxima preceding the 07 Altima in showroom arrival.
