02 Sensor stuck in downpipe ? and 02 sensor cost ?
Ok, Blades is buying ATXCLS' headers off of his CLS he recently traded in. I shipped my OEM headers to replace the CT's coming off his car. Anyway, the Dealer calls and says the 02 sensor is stuck in the CT header downpipe.
1--Can this happen, can it be reolved by usuing a special tool (this is the dealership, they should be able to solve this but...) ?
Of course dealer saying if they cannot get it out, will have to replace the 02 sensor.
What is the Cost ?
Any help, suggestions on this matter are greatly appreciated, as I feel a dealer raping in process.
Thanks.

it is possbile that it is stuck, did you use anti-seize when you installed it?
i've never had then get stuck on any of my cars, they are can be removed witha standard wrench and some force
ask them if u can try to remove it yourself

I can remove ANYTHING.....at work w/ my tools. It doesn't matter if it's welded in or rusted or if it breaks inside. Any respectable shop/dealer should have techs w/ the proper tools to deal w/ certain situations. they are prolly trying to get some cash outta you. Don't pay..take it somewhere else!!

damn...they prolly tried a set of vice grips on it or something. Don't EVER take ur car to that dealer again. if they don't have a normal O2 sensor socket then somethings wrong.
Send ur sensor to titand...aka...andy. He can grind anything
