comin home from work, tryin to flirt with these girls in a truck. i look back in the rear view mirror and this car was on my ass. it was a gold 03 civic si. so we pull up at a red light, he revs his engine. we both punch it. neck and neck till about 30mph. when vtec kicked in, he was about 1/2 length behind me. at about 60mph, he was about 3 car lengths. but overall, it was a good race. it turned out he had aem short ram intake, and a manual transmission. it was a pretty nice car. quick for a civic too!

 

nice but i dont think it was good race i mean good kill and all but you beat the shit out of his lil 4 banger!

That four-banger WRX is fast 0-60 but after that it is not very fast at all. I have a lot of fun with my car from 60-80 on the highway.

i agree with the post above kind of i heard after 100 they are worthless the turbo is so small they just bog out after 100 and dont pick up speed but from 60- 80 im not sure havent tried one exept for the time i race at a light i had him by about 1 1/4 car's off the line but when i shifted into 2nd and he shifted it was over.

 

Ive raced my friend's WRX off the line, and all i can see was his taillight.... but on freeway, both at 75mph... we both punch it, mine dropped back into 3rd, and i just pulled away.... so even he knows WRX are only good for off the line race... on freeway, adios... NOW if thats a mod WRX, V6s... please move aside... my other friend with his WRX, he has some big ass turbo, and running mid 12s.... he can spank me on freeway like i am a paseo! He was neck to neck with the V6 TTs... as in SupraTT, 300ZTT, and VR4s..... yes, its a huge differents
