01 CLS Black book values

I was given access to a private site where BB Values are used for Car dealers are the Auction.

Here are the Current Values for a 01 CLS with 43000miles

Show Vehicle Photo
VIN: 19UYAxxxx
UVC: 20xxx
VIN + UVC: 19UYxxxx
MSRP: $30,330
Loan Value: $14,280
Model#: YA4261FNW
Price Incl: AT AC CD
Mileage Cat: B

Black Book Retail as of 10/11/04
Extra Clean Clean Average Rough
Base $19,200 $18,425 $16,500 $14,250
Options $0 $0 $0 $0
Mileage ($575) ($275) $0 $0
Total $18,625 $18,150 $16,500 $14,250

Black Book Trade-In as of 10/11/04
Clean Average Rough
Base $15,650 $14,375 $11,330
Options $0 $0 $0
Mileage ($275) $0 $0
Total $15,375 $14,375 $11,330

At a quick Glance Values are not too bad, considering the car is nearly 5years old, the known Tranny problem and Discountined.

For you guys i have access to any Car, but it works like CarFax, to where i need a VIN number., it you want a value on a Car.

Auction numbers are much lower than that.

What service are you using?

$15K trade in for a 4 year old discontinued Acura w/ 43K miles sounds good to me....

When I bought my 6spd, I heard 52% retained value after 5 years... If I can get 1/2 what I paid for it after 5 years, I'll be happy.

'Black books' can & do mean anything/everything available.

What books specifically? NADA, Kelly's, Edmund's, local services, national Manheim numbers, local aution, etc.

We know what you asked. Have something against 01bluecls or people who work at dealers?

Got nothing against people working anywhere/doing anything. Interested in F900's response to my question, that is all.

Guys settle down lol ...

Chris to answer your question, my access is through the central car auction centre in Orlando and Ft.lauderdale, for car dealers in Florida, (but can look up any state)

They use National Auto Research Black Book, and thats where my values come from

Ahhhh...that is what I was looking for. Auction numbers are the only way to fly.

Your numbers are higher than the Pennsylvania area numbers, you lucked out down there.
