01 CL-s vs 09 Mini cooper turbo

Had my first race today with my stock 01 cls, auto against my sons friends 09 turbo charged Mini cooper,as would be expected I killed the mini with no problem what so ever,I know that isnt much of an acomplishment, but it was still fun! We raced from a dead stop,& I got him off the line & pulled on him all the way through the shift to 3rd gear.I could really use some advice on what mods will give me the best bang for the buck,I plan on doing an exhaust, cold air intake,&possibly a tune.Any one want to help the new guy??

Headers.

Depending on your location, Ive got a full 2.5" exhaust system (from the headers to mufflers) for sale.

I live in Florida, but we will be in Tenn. in mid October for vacation,in the Gattlinberg area,I might be interested if the price is right, only thing is I would have to have it shipped either way because we will be in a 2011 Camry! Dont think my wife would let me strap it to the roof. You seem to be the go-to guy on here, soany advice you could give mewould be appreciated.I can build and race small block chevy like no ones buissnes, but new to theAcura stuff! Let me know what you needfor the exhaust.BTW, have you heard of a power pro tuning module? It is suposed to give anextra 40hp,along with a couple more mpg,it installs into the MAF.

Dont trust any of those plug in "tuning modules". They don't do anything.

Our ECUs are pretty good, so for typical bolt-ons, you wont need a tune.

Im not sure you think it means what it really means.....the 2.5" setup is my old setup, Ive had the 3" setup on the car since November.

Get yourself some headers adds around 40 hp. Ive had my obx headers on my cls for six years and no problems. A third of the price of comptechs. Also a comptec cold air intake- CAI and that will add around 15. With those you should be able to beat some cars that you would think you wouldnt. Have fun. be safe
