01 CL-P Stolen ~BAY AREA, NORCAL~

My girlfriends NBP 01 CL-P was stolen yesterday in San Francisco, it has black 18s with a chrome lip and dual tip mufflers like mine. If anyone sees it, I would appreciate it if you could call the police. Thanks

Ahh I can't remember the plates off the top of my head. The fucked up thing is that it was parked in a hospital parking garage. And the security reported it being broken into around 9am but my girlfriend wasn't notified until 3pm that her car was missing. And they don't have security cameras in the garage either....

They found the car, from what the lady said its missing the rims/tires. Not sure what other damage there is, we're checking out the car tomorrow.

Glad to hear the car is back, but hopefully not much damage is done to the car except for rims/tires.

I thought our car is pretty secure. Isnt there chip in the key and such??

I guess i needa get those steering wheel lock.

My thoughts exactly. What happened with the whole "Immobilizer" chip and all this crap?

i think if there's one thing i hate in life and my biggest pet pieve i hate, it's thieves. i can't fucking understand how and why someone would steal somone else's shit. if you want it, buy it yourself. if you can't afford it, then fuck off and maybe find a job so you can buy it. sorry for the language, but my dad's car was broken into recently and i'm still pissed.

sorry about the loss and i hope there aren't any other damages to the car.

6-7 year old technology. It probably slowed them down, but not by much.

first post will answer your question, we're going to check out the car tomorrow, we're hoping they fucked the car up enough so that it gets totaled out so she doesn't need to pay the deductible.

I agree with you 110% the world would be a much better place without thieves.

Wow these thieves are a fucking joke, I went to see the car today. They toke practically every little thing in the car. Jesus piece, 30 cents worth of pennies, school books, parking permit, jackets, a stuffed rhino, a toy frog.

Funny thing is I think the innsurance dicked us. They credited us a thousand dollars for the cost of the aftermarket rims/tires. BUT they were going to deduct from that thousand dollars for new rims/tires, oem or aftermarket. Shouldn't the cost of the rims/tires be added along with the other body damage that was caused and not deducted from the credit we are supposed to receive?

It's quite confusing I tryed to explain it to the adjuster but he kept asking me the same question "do you want aftermarket or oem rims?"

They should cover the cost of new aftermarket rims, any body damage and the replacement cost of anything in the car. That is assuming you have full coverage.

Exactly and credit us what we payed for the lost rims/tires if we have a receipt right? they also said we don't replace personal items in the car at the time of theft. And we have full coverage on both our CL's
